Citizens Savings Bank remains the same strong community bank that G.F. Stanberry founded in 1907 in Gilman, Iowa. The bank has witnessed many eras, including the Roaring Twenties, the Great Depression, several world military conflicts, changing technology, and many regulatory changes.
The bank has also experienced growth over the years. In 1975, Citizens Savings Bank opened an office in LeGrand at 102 East Main Street. In 1978, the Gilman office moved to the current location at 103 South Elm Street. In 2001, the bank moved the charter to the new Marshalltown office located at 110 West Southridge Road.
Citizens Saving Bank has remained strong for the last 110 years. We are committed to serving our local and surrounding communities and take pride in our personalized service.
